SMS is a Swedish Metric Standard union. SMS Blank Liners are used to seal off the end of an SMS union, preventing a pipeline from becoming contaminated or leaking when it isn’t in use. Often used across a wide range of hygienic processing industries, including Food & Dairy, Beverages, Brewing and Cosmetics.

SMS unions are comprised of 4 parts:

• Round Slotted Nut
• Weld Liner
• Weld Male
• Hygienic Rubber Seal (EPDM as standard)

All wetted parts are grade 316 stainless steel, whilst the nut is 304.
