RJT Joint Ring | BS4825

RJT (also known as Ring Joint Type) is a British Standard union. Joint Rings are intended for use as part of an RJT union to create a hygienic, crevice-free seal. Often used across a wide range of hygienic processing industries, including Food & Dairy, Beverages, AI Cooling, Direct Air Capture, Brewing and Cosmetics.

Product Specification

• RJT Joint Rings to suit sizes 1” to 6”.
• Nitrile supplied as standard.
• Variations from stock in NBR, EPDM, Viton, Silicone, PTFE and Metal Detectable.
• Manufactured to BS4825 for hygienic applications.
• All seals are certified to EU1935:2004 regulations or FDA.

More About RJT Unions

RJT unions are comprised of 4 parts:

• Hexagon Nut
• Pressed or Machined Liner
• Weld Male
• Hygienic Rubber Seal (Nitrile as standard)

All wetted parts are grade 316 stainless steel, whilst the nut is 304.

RJT is a very forgiving union and is easy to install. It is well suited to applications that require regular dismantling.
