RJT Blank Liner | BS4825

RJT (also known as Ring Joint Type) is a British Standard union. An RJT blank liner is used to seal off the end of an RJT union, preventing a pipeline from becoming contaminated or leaking when it isn’t in use. Often used across a wide range of hygienic processing industries, including Food & Dairy, Beverages, AI Cooling, Direct Air Capture, Brewing and Cosmetics.

RJT unions are comprised of 4 parts:

• Hexagon Nut
• Pressed or Machined Liner
• Weld Male
• Hygienic Rubber Seal (Nitrile as standard)

All wetted parts are grade 316 stainless steel, whilst the nut is 304.

RJT is a very forgiving union and is easy to install. It is well suited to applications that require regular dismantling.
