Y-Type Pot Strainer (Pump Protection Strainer)
Y-Type Pump Protection Strainers are hygienic filtration devices, designed to remove debris and contaminants from liquid processing lines. Made from high-quality Stainless Steel, they protect pumps and equipment as well as maintaining product purity. Pot Strainers are often used across a wide range of hygienic processing industries, including Food & Dairy, Beverages, AI Cooling, Direct Air Capture, Brewing and Cosmetics.

More About Hygienic Pot Strainers
At Pipeline Products, we manufacture our own Y-Type Pot Strainers. With many years’ experience manufacturing this product, we use grade 316 Stainless Steel for all parts and fit EPDM seals as standard.
The internal element is constructed from top grade wedge wire, to give superior product handling and allow for efficient cleaning of the filter. The wedge wire allows us to construct a completely circular filter tube with no flat areas, for product to collect making this unit extremely sanitary.
Our range of internal filter elements are made to suit sizes 1″-2″, 2.5″-3″ and 4″.
An important feature of the strainer is the ability to remove the element whilst the body is in line, this allows for cleaning or, in the event of a new product, an element size change. We offer our pump protection strainer with a range of end connections and element sizes from 10 micron to 5000 micron, making it suitable for many applications.
