IDF Blank Liner | BS4825
IDF (also known as International Dairy Federation) is a British Standard union. An IDF Blank Liner is used to seal off the end of an IDF union, preventing a pipeline from becoming contaminated or leaking when it isn’t in use. Often used across a wide range of hygienic processing industries, including Food & Dairy, Beverages, Brewing and Cosmetics.

More Abut IDF Unions
IDF unions are comprised of 4 parts:
All wetted parts are grade 316 stainless steel, whilst the nut is 304.
Well suited to CIP systems IDF union provides a secure and clean connection. CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems are used to clean pipework without needing to disassemble equipment.
The IDF union also uses a T-Shaped joint ring to ensure a smooth bore when tightened and a crevice free joint.
